Sovda's Destoner Lift

When Sovda designed its Destoner Lift, we had one thing in mind: roasters. What sort of machine could we create that would save roasters money, create a more accurate and productive workflow, while also giving them added peace of mind?

And so the Destoner Lift was born.

The Destoner Lift is the combination of two machines: A Destoner and Sovda’s conveyance system. So while you’re moving your coffee, you’re effortlessly making sure that every stone or foreign object is removed from your coffee.

Instead of buying two machines, you only need one.

Not only does this save roasters money, but the Destoner Lift eliminates an extra step in the workflow and floor space in their roastery.

As well as doing a great job at removing all of the stones, it also conveys the coffee to the Pearl easily and you can visually see when the coffee has finished going through with the sight glass.

We have a button installed on our control panel which—combined with accessing the Pearl functions remotely means that the roaster can stay focused on the current roast while the previous batch is being sorted. Our Destoner Lift is faster than average Destoners and destones coffee at a speed of 4 to 5kg/per minute and our Lift conveys coffee at 300kg/per hour.
