SOVDA Lift is designed to be configurable to fit your roastery's needs.
1. Choose your intake:
This could be a Lance, hopper, or both! We offer hoppers in 25L, 60L, 150L (comfortable fits 1+ 60kg sacks of green), and 230L.
Destoners are a great upgrade to any hopper being used with roasted coffee to add another line of defense against foreign debris.
Our Precision Hoppers (integrated scale) are available in both 60 & 150 liter sizes. This can be great for Lift's connected to roasters to measure green coffee loading in, and yield coming out. Having both makes it easy to calculate moisture loss for each batch.
Every hopper can be optioned with coffee detection sensors to increase automation and efficiency in your operation.
2. Choose your pipe run:
Lift's can be made to span tall vertical distances, or long horizontal ones. Lift is all about moving your coffee for you, so you don't have to.
3. Choose your suction option:
Lift is powered by a vacuum, and there are a two great options you can choose from:
Central Vacuum: Compact and capable of running on 120v (North America), or 220 (Europe, Asia). Less expensive and gets the job done.
Vacuum Box: Upgrade to the Vacuum Box if you're looking for industrial power and performance. It has quieter and longer service life compared to the Central Vacuum.

“We purchased the SOVDA Lift purely for practical reasons. I couldn’t imagine my team lifting 500 kilos every day into the machine, so it was basically a must.”

Your Lift questions, answered
Can I purchase a Lift just for moving green coffee into my roaster?
Yes. Our Lifts have already been mounted onto multiple roasters worldwide for green coffee conveyance. We just need the measurements of your roaster hopper and an additional $500 to fabricate the custom mount for that hopper.
Can I purchase a Lift for my weigh-and-fill or color sorter machines?
Yes, you can! Although designed to fit our Pearl Mini and Precision Fill machines, our Lifts can be customized to fit any existing machines in your production space. We’ll require an additional $500 to create a custom mount for your roaster, weigh-and-fill, destoner, color sorter, storage depot/silo etc.
Can I use the Lift for ground coffee?
Unfortunately, no. We’ve previously received inquiries about creating a ground coffee solution, but our equipment suites don’t yet provide one. All of our equipment is compatible with green or roasted whole-bean coffee. However, we recommend purchasing equipment specifically for either option, as alternating between green and roasted (or ‘raw’ and ‘cooked’) coffee beans is time-consuming and tedious to clean and purge.
How hard is it to set up Lift?
While SOVDA Lifts aren’t technical to set up, they require some heavy lifting. We recommend having two people assist with positioning the cyclone on top of your equipment. The pipe runs use Tri-Clamp spools, which are incredibly easy and fun to assemble! You should be able to set up your Lift in under 2 hours. Your SOVDA Technical Brand Ambassador will be available to answer any questions and our straightforward assembly guides will take you through the process step-by-step.
What’s the lead time for Lift?
Generally, the lead time from order purchase to delivery is around 100 days. This includes production and shipping times without additional equipment. Customizations can increase lead times. Lift parts are occasionally stocked, so depending on your Lift options (Destoner, Precision Hopper, Lance, Sensor Package etc.), you could receive your Lift much sooner.
Can I customize my Lift?
We have numerous customization options, including various hopper sizes, a modular destoner upgrade, integrated hopper scale options, Lance, Sensor Package etc. Please reach out to your Technical Brand Ambassador or distributor for more information.
What’s the durability like for Lift?
Our Lifts have been produced since our inception with minimal maintenance reports. SOVDA only uses over-build components; most parts in the Lift never come even close to their maximum operating ranges and, as a result, provide incredible durability.
