We’ve been on the other side of the equipment buying process, and we’ve seen how frustrating it can be. That’s why we decided to do things differently.
One of the ways that we’ve committed to our customers is through our sales and installation process. Because the salesperson who will be communicating with you is also your technician (or has been a technician) there is an invested interest in the transparency and smoothness of the buying process. For this reason, our salespeople are called Technical Brand Ambassadors.
So if you decide to have Sovda install your equipment for you, there’s a high chance that your salesperson will also be the person setting up your equipment for you. This means that your Technical Brand Ambassador (TBA) will be with you through the entire process and will know your needs from beginning to end.
Not only that, but far after the installation of your equipment—you’ll always have access to your TBA. Having your TBA’s personal number in your pocket sure beats going through a large company and the hoops of warranties.
Taking the perspective of the client is also why we offer flat rates for shipping (the exception is if we’ve never shipped to your country before) and will bite the cost if it goes over the rate we’ve given. That way you know exactly what you’re paying ahead of time.
Because we’re a smaller company, we’re able to offer you a more intimate process from beginning to end. This is what our clients sign up for when they sign up for a Sovda.
We recognize that we’ve made the choice to offer our clients a personal experience and because we’re a small team, this isn’t always perfect. We know that something is broken in the industry and we are actively working on making it better for roasters everywhere.
